Extreme Deep Bleaching - Teeth Whitening
Whitening is one of the simplest and least expensive techniques and it can give you a brilliant smile you’ll be proud of. Our custom made whitening kits to use at home are comfortable, easy to use, and deliver a great result.

Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers offers the ultimate in esthetics. A veneer is a thin facing or covering that bonds to the natural tooth structure. A much more conservative alternative to crowns (caps) that can give you the smile you have always dreamed of and deserve.

Porcelain veneers are top line in cosmetic dentistry.  If your teeth are chipped, broken, or discolored, porcelain veneers are a great way to change the color and shape of your teeth.  Veneers can be a great alternative to braces for slight orthodontic problems and provide a beautiful smile in a short amount of time. The results are simply gorgeous!

Bonding
Dental bonding can produce amazing improvements by fixing chips, cracks, and cavities in teeth. Bonding can repair or cover the front surface of teeth with an extremely durable state-the-art composite resin to either change the tooth's color or shape, or completely rebuild a broken tooth. Bonding is great for children who have chipped front teeth and for adults who need an alternative to veneers. Bonding can do most of what porcelain veneers can do, but are not quite as long- lasting.

Metal Free Crowns
Crowns, or caps, are used to restore badly broken or cracked teeth. These newer metal-free crowns eliminate the unsightly black line you may have seen next to the gum line on older crowns. These can be made to look so life-like that they become very difficult for us to find after we have done them!

Tooth Colored Fillings
We use only the best tooth colored composite resin for any filling we place. When a tooth needs to be strengthened we use ceramic Onlays. Onlays are tooth-colored restorations that are used to replace large silver fillings on the chewing surfaces of back teeth. Onlays restore the original strength and beauty of your back teeth This approach has become very popular because silver (mercury) fillings can crack teeth and are much less attractive.

"Drop Dead Gorgeous" Full & Partial Dentures
While we wish no one would ever need dentures, sometimes they are the best, or only option. In the past wearing dentures was the only form of dentistry available that improve a person’s smile. When dentures are the best choice, we take the time necessary to create beautiful, great fitting, comfortable dentures. You will look your best and feel confident that your teeth will give you the best image and comfort all day long.

Implants can be used to attach your dentures directly to your bone with a snap-tight fit. The dentures are attached to the implants to hold them firmly in place. We provide complete implant services to make tight fitting stable dentures a reality for you. Call us for a consultation appointment.

Invisalign (Orthodontics)
The "clear" way to straighten your teeth. Invisalign gradually moves your teeth through a series of custom made, removable, nearly invisible Aligners.  Thanks to CAD CAM technology, Invisalign is able to transform smiles in months without wires.

Dental Implants
Implants are an increasingly popular alternative to dentures and bridges. They have many advantages, including their natural appearance, improved comfort and unequaled convenience. If you are considering implants, we can discuss the considerations and help you make the decision that is right for you.

Healthy Gums
Healthy gums are a sure sign of good overall health. Unhealthy gums can be an huge risk-factor for heart disease as well as stroke. Gum disease is easily treated and then can be easily prevented from recurring. With our state-of-the-art methods you can be assured that your gums will receive only the highest level of care.

Our hygienist is both thorough and gentle! We can help you create a custom preventive maintenance routine to keep your teeth and gums healthy. If you have gum problems, we offer both non-surgical and surgical gum therapies.

Root Canals
Root canal treatment, also known as endodontic treatment, is a dental procedure in which the diseased or damaged nerve of a tooth is removed so that the tooth can be saved or restored.

Periodontal Treatment
If the shape or fullness or your gums is a problem, the contours and shape of the gums can be changed to provide a more attractive appearance and protect the teeth.Using various proven methods, Dr. Silverman can shape the gum precisely while minimizing bleeding and preventing pain. In some cases, synthetic bone can be added under the gums to build areas where trauma or gum disease has occurred.

Headaches, clenching, grinding teeth

Many people damage their teeth or give themselves headaches by grinding or clenching their teeth during their sleep. Some people develop jaw joint (TMJ) pain. We offer nightguard type splints to help with this.

Infection Control
Our office is not only OSHA compliant, we follow or exceed MOSH guidelines. These are the guidelines set up by the State of Maryland. They are at a higher level then OSHA guidelines. We hold ourselves to the highest standards because we believe that everyone wants to be treated as family. That is how we treat all of our patients, like our own families
